Like a committee of professionals, children from the Foyer Charles Frey and the Institution Saint-Joseph in Strasbourg are invited to advise Kaori Ito and her artistic team during rehearsals for the show. Waré Monowho sets out to repair the wounds of childhood.
Kaori Ito first went to meet them and lead a workshop inspired by the kintsugi (the Japanese art of restoring ceramics with gold) and collect their answers to the question "How can we repair the world?". These words were recorded and used to create the show's sound and musical composition. Children attend rehearsals to contribute to the creative process and give feedback to the team.
The show premieres this fall, and you can hear their solutions for taking care of the world.
