After many years as a performer, I had to devote a lot of time to gaining recognition for my creative approach. When I founded my company, I was often told that I didn't need help because I was touring so much. The transition between these two roles is still not very well accepted in France.
It took 10 years for people to stop telling me it was a shame I wasn't on stage.
