Walking above the void, making incredible jumps with the constant risk of falling, acrobats risk their lives every time they perform. When the body faces danger, the mind takes refuge behind fear. Addressing this taboo between circus artists allows us to explore this fundamental emotion of our humanity, present in every place, at every time, in every individual. It's an emotion that can save our lives or push us into a corner! On stage, confronting words and bodies in action, Lucas Bergandi and Clément Dazin play with the audience's fears, with their own as fil-de-fériste and juggler, but also with those they feel in their everyday lives. If fear echoes in us the possibility of death, the bright joy of the circus artist on his wire seems to proclaim that it awakens the desire to live just as much.

Lucas Bergandi and Clément Dazin met in 2009 at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque, where they studied together for three years. As acrobat and musician, Lucas Bergandi She then collaborated with various companies on projects in dance, circus arts and street arts, and for a time experienced the intensity and demands of working in German Variety Theaters.

Drawing on the experience of various practices - dance, gestural theater, juggling, gymnastics, Clément Dazin creates circus shows that flout the boundaries between disciplines. In recent years, he has focused on the role of text and speech in his creations, which are often inspired by contemporary themes.

In 2016, he founded his company, The Hand of Manin Strasbourg. Very active locally, she also presents her shows at major international festivals, from Rio de Janeiro to Taipei.
