Adaptation of the show for young audiences Le Monde à l'envers Japanese version

I believe that children's imagination can save the world. I've been dealing with children's issues in my shows for some time now. Artists and children alike cultivate their imaginations to create dreams and hopes.

In 2021, I created the show Le Monde à l'envers, based on children's secrets, after collecting children's words. Three superheroes dance with the help of children, and they need their imagination to continue the show. I'd like to recreate this show with three Japanese dancers and an actor in partnership with the Kanagawa art theater in Yokohama, Japan, in 2023. In Japan, children are growing up with screens, and the world of theater is in danger because the younger generations are not used to going to theaters. I find this situation terrible, because Japan is a country with a fine, sensitive culture, where the theater is seen as a place for sharing. For Japanese children, it's difficult to express their inner world in front of other children, and this takes time. So it's doubly necessary to take the time to work with the children and the performers, to understand their fine ways of dialoguing, so as to be able to produce a show that speaks for them, that gives them courage and confidence.
