A theatrical form based on the tactile objects of visual artist Myriam Colin, TOUCHE is a journey through the senses and the imagination. A show on the borderline between experimentation with textures and zoomorphic forms, and a circular playground(s) shared with the youngest. Sensations evolve thanks to gestures that punctuate the discovery. This first creation by the POM collective brings together the sound materials of flutist Olivier Touratier and the dance of Pauline Leurent around living sculptures. Ground-level nests, accordion cocoons, hermit crab shells, walnut carpets and caterpillar chrysalises made from horticultural felt, these objects activate the imagination. Poetic research around touch, a pure and primitive sensation, becomes an act of transformation of the world, a voice in the silence and a parallel language shared with toddlers. Using islands of arched seating, they explore breath and the surrounding space as an extension of the body. The colorful textile creations become shelters, territories of adventure and fiction.

Visit P by Pauline Leurent, the O by Olivier Touratier and M Myriam Colin form the founding trio of the Collectif POM. It was during a workcamp organized at the TJP in 2017, that Pauline fell in love with Myriam's objects (a graduate of the École de l'Image d'Épinal and the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg) and their potential for manipulation. A joint exploration of sound, play and sculpture led to this first project for young audiences. It is built at the intersection of their respective artistic practices: theater and dance, music and computer-assisted composition, illustration and sculpture using a variety of materials (horticultural felt, walnuts, construction site netting and synthetic raffia...). While Pauline Leurent is an associate artist at Taps (2020-2024), Olivier Touratier has been one of the project leaders of the Giboul'Off festival for over 10 years.

" This simplicity of gesture is accompanied by music that beautifully qualifies the movement. At the end of the show, there's an air of lightness, sustained by the poetry of this artistic experience (...) "
