WORKSHOP WITHOUT PARENTS
ARTISTIC DISCOVERY AND PRACTICE

This season, three parent-free workshops are on offer for children aged 6 to 11. An original way to immerse yourself in the world of a show through artistic experience.
While the adults watch a performance, the children get together to write, dance and create under the guidance of an artist in charge of the show.
Each workshop ends with a time of sharing between children and parents. It's an opportunity for everyone to tell their own story, in their own way, about what they've seen, felt or imagined.

From 6 to 8 years
In conjunction with DANCE MARATHON EXPRESS
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5
3 to 5 p.m. | Main stage
With Marvin Clech
Let's revisit several choreographic tableaux from Dance Marathon Express, Kaori Ito's new piece. In this workshop, we'll go back in time from the 1990s to the 1930s, and explore in movement the different musical trends of each era! Put on your sneakers, and let the rhythm carry you along. Let's dance!

Ages 6 to 11
In connection with AUX SUIVANTES!
SATURDAY, JANUARY 17
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. | Petite scène
With Malu França
What are the essential things in our lives that we don't want to forget? To answer this question, we'll draw inspiration from the world of three women artists, including Niki de Saint Phalle. We'll draw on their creative methods, playing with shapes and colors to express our singularities on large-scale frescoes. Paint and charcoal will be used to keep a trace of this encounter, so that it remains engraved in our memories.

Ages 8 to 11
In association with 1729 SECONDES
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. | Main stage
With Julie Lerat-Gersant
Creating a show often means starting with a text and bringing it to life in images. In this workshop, we reverse this process. Using photos from the show 1729 secondes, children are invited to write their own stories, alone or with others. At the end of the workshop, they can compare their imagined stories with the performance their parents have seen on stage.
