Children are invited to take their place in a space reminiscent of a clearing or camp, with a pond and tents in which they can settle in.

Two creatures arrive, half-human, half-Yokai. Friend or foe? As each tries to set up camp, a strange game begins. Imitation? Transformation? Will they be able to get along and create something together?

Little by little, Marvin Clech, a dancer who mixes contemporary with krump, and Naëma Tounsi, an actress and singer as comfortable with Mozart as she is with Ella Fitzgerald, will tame each other to blend their imaginations, eventually inviting the children to take part in their joyful round of change.

For their first creation for toddlers, directors Juliette Steiner and Kaori Ito use the pleasure of magical transformation to bring a carnival rite to life. The joy of becoming a monster, an animal, an object, a plant or a hybrid being is based on the freedom to move, sing and dance. In this way, we collectively create the possibility of turning perspectives upside down, of reinventing a world of possibilities, where change is a source of joy, laughter and hope.

Born in Japan into a family of artists, Kaori Ito trained at an early age in ballet and then modern dance in New York, before performing for a number of European choreographers (Decouflé, Preljocaj, Platel, Cherkaoui...). She began writing choreography in collaboration with Aurélien Bory, Denis Podalydès, Olivier Martin-Salvan and Yoshi Oïda, then for her own company Himé, where she developed a cycle of autobiographical creations. Akin to dance-theater, she takes raw, intimate texts as her starting point to create a vital movement that links bodies together, bringing into existence the void, the invisible and the sacred.
Since 2023, she has directed the TJP CDN Strasbourg - Grand Est. She has presented Battle mon cœur, Waré Mono, Dear, Robot, eternal love and Le Monde à l'envers.

Juliette Steiner trained as a set designer at the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg and as an actress at the Colmar Conservatory. In 2016, she founded the Quai n°7 company on the trackside of an Alsatian railway station, to promote a cooperative creative process that interweaves the different vocabularies of her collaborators in a stage script. Sy's work combines plastic research, feminist and societal issues, as well as an exploration and updating of the great myths. Her commitments led her to become a founding member of the association HFX Grand Est, which works for gender equality in culture. She was a member of the artists' committee accompanying Kaori Ito's first term at the TJP. She created An Exhibition and also presents H.S. this season.
