SoloS explores intense moments in the lives of female figures, captured in a moment of intimacy and abandonment, when they are as if out of this world. Oscillating between strength and fragility, they venture from one painting to the next in a search for self that is always counterbalanced by curiosity about the world and each other.

Kaori Ito's whimsical and mischievous imaginary world unfolds in a dance that is by turns sensual, nervous and obstinate.

SoloS was born of her experience as a dancer who has always been directed by men, such as Philippe Decouflé, Angelin Preljocaj, Alain Platel, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and James Thierrée.
