Do you have to be a math whiz to become a talented juggler? This question is the starting point for circus artist Clément Dazin, who arrives in the classroom like a strange lecturer. His lecture begins in earnest before one of his juggling balls falls and a piece of chalk breaks. Putting his money where his mouth is, he recounts the risks he takes and the choices he makes that alter the trajectories of his projectiles, in a story that emphasizes failure as a key stage in the learning process. Circus becomes a pretext for stepping outside the box and questioning our personal aspirations, dreams and doubts. Clément Dazin sees his art as a " artistic medium, such as painting or sculpture. What I love about juggling is its fragility. It's extremely complicated to tackle existential themes, and it's this complexity that delights and enthralls me. It gives meaning to movement. "

Very early, Clément Dazin is fascinated by movement and the mastery of the body in space. He started out in gymnastics before turning to the circus at the age of 16, when he joined the Point Bar company, where he discovered the pleasure of creation. With a Master's degree in Management, he is particularly interested in the psycho-affective dimension of corporate relations. He then joined the École de Cirque de Lyon and the Centre national des Arts du Cirque de Châlons-en-Champagne, where he continued to explore the links between contemporary dance, movement theater, hip-hop dance and juggling, developing his own universe. His shows decompartmentalize practices, ignoring the usual boundaries between disciplines. He created his company La Main de l'Homme in 2016, which maintains a strong link with juggling and dance, while questioning the place of text and speech. He has already presented at the TJP A.N.G.S.T. with Lucas Bergandi.
