Utopia utopias

Through the project Utopia, UtopiasDelphine Lanson aims to stimulate exchanges between artists of the body, the word and local residents. She invites pairs of artists to explore subjects that animate them, pushing them to the point of utopia. RAP, performative art performances that emerge are designed to arouse the curiosity of local residents, ignite a spark, generate the unexpected, set body and mind in motion for an experience of sharing and embodied collective intelligence. For Génération Seishun#2, Delphine Lanson invites you to discover two 30-minute short forms around the theme of utopia.

Fifteen yearsis a dialogue written by six hands for two generations of women. Melissa Dossou, a young high-school student, and Delphine Lanson, actress and director, share the stage. Accompanied on the writing by Marie NDiaye, they summon up the dreams of their fifteenth birthdays: current events for one, distant memories for the other. Between family revelations, restrained anger, a thirst for justice, love and inheritance, it's dance that emerges when words fail.

Er...is a duet of dance and juggling for two grown-ups who play like children. What would a world without adults be like? In their physical, virtuoso exchanges and games, Louis Gillard and Jörg Muller attempt to define the contours of this new reality. A feeling of emancipation and freedom emanates from this poetic and droll universe of intertwining plastic bags.

Graduate of the London and International School of Acting, Delphine Lanson spent 10 years co-directing the contemporary circus company Anomalie &... She believes in the complementarity of the arts, and is actively involved in research in this area. She shares her experience with Circus Next's emerging artists as a mentor, while also being a member of the scientific, artistic and pedagogical college of the Centre national des Arts du Cirque de Châlons-en-Champagne. She is also coordinator of the Hand to Hand European circus research project, supported by the Pôle national Cirque Châlons-en-Champagne - Grand Est. The actress, author, director and producer is a member of the committee of artists accompanying Kaori Ito's first term at the TJP. She presented My_Creature and played in Dear.
