It's a simple proposition: make a child's dream come true through art. Fatou Ba chose to draw her inspiration from the stories of pupils in a UPE2A class at Pasteur College (Unité Pédagogique pour Élèves Allophones Arrivants).
The result of this unique encounter between artist Fatou Ba and schoolchildren is a dreamlike tale where languages mingle and unite into one, where sounds and images intertwine in poetic harmony. These young people from different parts of the world, all learning French together, inspired Fatou Ba to write a journey. Actress Léna Dia guides us through this invitation to dream, using colorful fabrics of varying shapes and textures set up on stage.
Fatou Ba is an actress, storyteller and artistic director of the Company 12:21. She creates hybrid, multidisciplinary shows that bring together professionals and amateurs of all ages. Léna Dia is a recurring actress and performer with Compagnie 12:21.
