ELSAUTOPIE OR THE GREEN MOUNTAIN
A PATH TO UTOPIA
Delphine Lanson & 3rd grade CHAT students from Collège Hans Arp
Students in the 3 rd year of the Classe à Horaires Aménagés Théâtre at Collège Hans Arp explore utopia and the future of their neighborhoods, Elsau and Montagne Verte, in a project directed by Delphine Lanson.
As night falls, a group of teenagers find themselves in an abandoned building in the Elsau district, which they call "the haunted house". As they explore the building's interior, the spirit of the neighborhood and its inhabitants is revealed before their eyes and ears. How will they keep track? Inspired by Philippe Martone's work L'âme de l'À, this creation also draws on the intimate words of young people and their families, collected through writing workshops.
The dozen students have been guided and accompanied all year by their literature teacher. Giuseppe Cavalerichoreographer and dancer Antje Schurthe actress and director Emma Massaux, and the Brouillons Bouillants writers' collective, made up of Camille Mandaroux and Rémy Bouchinet.
