When the spectators arrive, the children are already there, inhabiting the stage. The two dancers emerge like children among them.
On a bare stage covered with their footprints, they stand alone. Slowly, piece by piece, one of them dismembers a fragile child-like puppet. The performers sizing each other up, challenging and confronting each other between violence and tenderness. Animals, monsters or twins, they gradually invent a ritual that transforms and unites them. Through their efforts, the fragmented puppet, a vestige of our wounded childhood, is brought back to life. How do we repair our wounds? By sealing them with gold to make them more precious? Can our scars become cracks through which light can enter?
