In Japan, sacrifice and self-giving are rooted in culture. Eight performers take part in a dance marathon in front of us, from which they will be excluded one by one. Then a snowy landscape suddenly appears, where a child must sacrifice himself so that his family can survive. With sensitivity, modesty and humor, Kaori Ito questions the cruel traditions of her country, the better to overcome them.
