Partition for one vacuum cleaner and three cleaners, H.S. is a small, all-terrain form inspired by the fictional principles of the show Services. Director Juliette Steiner makes sound the driving force behind a narrative invented by successive layers of letting go. When it's time for their break, they put away their brooms and mops to break bread in a burlesque ceremony that resembles a union picnic. A simple packet of potato chips and tap water set off noises, burps and other crackling sounds that invite bickering. Around a table and chairs, a computer and a sampler are enough to order a series of sonic accidents (radio interference, human beats and looped noises) generated by the team. This symphony of the present becomes increasingly absurd, especially when the world's soundtrack goes off the rails and demands a total reset. From a seemingly gloomy everyday life, the game's joyful discovery leads to the ability, through humor and lyrical or rapped song, to collectively re-enchant the world.

Juliette Steiner trained in set design at the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg and as an actress at the Conservatoire de Colmar. In 2016, she founded the Quai n°7 company, on the trackside of an Alsatian train station. The director promotes a cooperative creative process that interweaves the different vocabularies of her collaborators in a stage script. Her work combines plastic research, feminist and societal questioning, as well as an exploration of the great myths and their updating. Her commitments led her to become a founding member of the association HFX Grand Est, which works for gender equality in culture. She was a member of the artists' committee accompanying Kaori Ito's first term at the TJP. She created An Exhibition and co-wrote her first play for very young audiences Moé Moé Boum Boum.

" We've heard of concertos for saws and pumps. Now we discover the minuet for vacuum cleaners, the percussion for potato chips, the micro trash can, the computer update that turns into a musical bug.. "
